Numbing is no longer the answer
Let me walk you through a scenario
You are checking your phone after a 6 weeks of incredible dates with your Tinder match, but you still haven’t heard from them in over a week.
You start to doubt their interest in you. You try sending a follow up text-
No reply.
You begin to doubt your judgement.
“Why do I have such horrible luck with dating?”
“Why do I keep doing this?”
“Why can’t I just find somebody?”
You ask yourself these questions as you continue to check your phone on the way to the liquor store.
Ready to drink the feelings away that accompany rejection, and disappointment.
You numb until you no longer care.
Imagine what you could have if you chose not to numb-

When you learn that substances are no longer an option for coping.
When you learn the value of true intimacy inside of partnership, and stop relying on superficiality to fulfill you
When you learn the power that you have over your numbing techniques.
What does this look like?
You look at your phone, and contend that they won’t be texting you, and you feel bliss because you are confident that if they were meant to be in your life, they would be.
Instead of questioning “what went wrong”, or “what’s wrong with me”, you stand with confidence.
You acknowledge that you tried.
You forgive yourself for not knowing.
You nurture the part of you that wants to be loved by another.
You take care of your body, and choose to love yourself that night instead of outsourcing to another human being.
You remind yourself that you can have the life that you desire.
You are ready to confront your insecurities that come with rejection.

My process inside is an integrated approach to awareness, somatic healing, confronting triggers, and moving pain by getting in touch with the true self.
This means that you are here to know, truly know what your worth is.
This means that you are no longer going to settle for less.
You embody confidence, and work towards creating a strong foundation of self.
You take life’s triggers as a sign of growth, and not a setback.
You move past egocentric ideas that the world is out to get you, or that you “just can’t win”.
Through grounding, techniques, journaling practices, and group support, you become more in tune with yourself than you ever have.
You finally say goodbye to numbing and self sabotaging.
